Milan, 16 February (LaPresse) – The NBA All-Star Game was played last night in Los Angeles, with a new three-team format to make it more appealing. In the first game, Team USA Stars and Team World took to the court, with the former winning 37-35 after a one-minute overtime period. Victor Wembanyama stood out with 14 points for Team World and Anthony Edwards with 13 for Team Stars. In the second game, Team USA Stripes defeated Team USA Stars 42-40. Cade Cunningham and Anthony Edwards stood out with 11 points for USA Stars, as did Jaylen Brown for Team USA Stripes. In the last game of the round robin, Team USA Stripes beat Team World 48-45. Once again, Victor Wembanyama's 19 points were not enough, while Kawhi Leonard scored 31 points in 12 minutes for USA Stripes. In the final, Team USA Stars defeated USA Stripes 47-21. Tyrese Maxey was the top scorer in the final with 9 points.
