Milan, 16 February (LaPresse) – For the first time in his career, Luciano Darderi loses an ATP final. After winning the first four games, he surrenders to Argentina's number 1, Francisco Cerundolo, in Buenos Aires. Beaten twice in the first two finals in his home tournament, the world number 19 won 6-4, 6-2 to claim his fourth ATP title, his first since Umag 2024. Darderi sees his entry into the Top 20 slip away but still improves his best ranking: as of today, Monday, he will be number 21 in the world.
