Milan, 23 Feb. (LaPresse) – “One can organize the best possible and imaginable Olympics, and it seems that our work is being recognized. But there are two elements that are equally essential to complete not only the journey, not only the evaluation, but also what is obviously the legacy, including the intangible one, meaning the memory and heritage we leave to ourselves and especially to future generations, which may come many years from now. First, the Italian team had to achieve important results. Then, we cannot allow ourselves to organize great Olympics without organizing great Paralympics, because it is our duty and our mission.” This is what Giovanni Malagò, president of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Foundation, said during the press conference to present the Winter Paralympics, which will start on March 6.
