Milan, 11 March (LaPresse) – Tobias Lund Andresen (Decathlon CMA CGM Team) won the third stage of the Tirreno Adriatico Crédit Agricole, the 221 km Cortona-Magliano de' Marsi. Arnaud De Lie (Lotto Intermarché) and Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Premier Tech) finished second and third respectively. Isaac Del Toro (UAE Team Emirates XRG) remains in the Maglia Azzurra as leader of the General Classification. A few seconds after crossing the finish line, stage winner Tobias Lund Andresen said: ‘It's great to have won, especially because Tirreno Adriatico is one of the most important races in my season calendar and this success means a lot to me. I wanted to be the first to launch the sprint, partly because I saw Jonathan Milan move early and I didn't want to get boxed in. My season has started very well since the first races in Australia. I've improved a lot since last year and it's thanks to this fantastic team.’
