Miami, Mar. 21 (LaPresse) – A good start for Jasmine Paolini at the Miami Open, the fourth WTA 1000 of the season, taking place on the hard courts of the Hard Rock Stadium. The 30-year-old from Bagni di Lucca, No. 7 in the ranking and in the seeding, entered directly in the second round, defeating the left-handed American Taylor Townsend, No. 80 WTA, 6-3, 1-6, 6-2 in just under one hour and forty-five minutes of play.
