Milan, 25 March (LaPresse) – Mikaela Shiffrin is cementing her place in the history of winter sports. The American star has won the women’s Alpine Skiing Overall World Cup for the sixth time in her career. All the American needed was to move up two places after finishing 17th in the first run of the final giant slalom in Norway. For Germany’s Emma Aicher, who was fourth after the first run, even a victory would not be enough to overtake Shiffrin in the standings.
