Rome, Apr. 1 (LaPresse) – “Miriam Caroccia, my client, is very shaken by this whole affair. She also worked as a waitress in the steakhouse. During the interrogation, she clarified her position, explaining that the money used to purchase the equipment for the business came from the then Undersecretary of Justice, Delmastro.” This was stated by lawyer Fabrizio Gallo at the end of Miriam Caroccia’s interrogation at the Rome prosecutor’s office. Caroccia is under investigation in connection with the management of ‘Bisteccheria Italia’ on Via Tuscolana, where the Rome Public Prosecutor’s Office is pursuing charges of money laundering and fictitious ownership of assets. The case also involves former Undersecretary of Justice Andrea Delmastro Delle Vedove (not under investigation, ed.). The investigation is being led by Deputy Prosecutor Lorenzo Del Giudice.
