Turin, 25 April (LaPresse) – Following in the footsteps of Luciano Darderi, Flavio Cobolli has also qualified for the third round of the Madrid Masters 1000. The Italian defeated Argentina’s Camilo Ugo Carabelli, ranked 57th in the ATP rankings, who had previously knocked out France’s Gaël Monfils, in three sets with a score of 6-7 (7), 6-1, 6-4. The Italian’s next opponent is Paraguay’s Adolfo Daniel Vallejo, ranked 96th.
