Milan, June 7 (LaPresse) – Wesley’s World Cup dream is over. The Roma winger, who was injured in a friendly against Egypt, will not be part of Brazil’s national team. Wesley underwent medical tests that revealed a tear in the adductor muscle of his left thigh, an injury that will prevent him from recovering in time for the tournament. The Brazilian Football Federation therefore announced his exclusion from the squad coached by Carlo Ancelotti, with Atalanta midfielder Éderson called up in his place.
