Turin, December 30 (LaPresse) – Five people have been charged in connection with the death of One Direction singer Liam Payne in Argentina, local authorities report. The 31-year-old star died on October 16 after falling from the third-floor balcony of a hotel in Buenos Aires.
According to the BBC, the hotel director, Gilda Martin, and her receptionist, Esteban Grassi, along with Payne’s friend and manager, Roger Nores, have been accused of involuntary manslaughter.
Ezequiel Pereyra, another hotel employee, and Braian Paiz, a waiter, have been accused of providing drugs to the singer.
