Washington (USA), Jan 20 (LaPresse) – After the church service at St John's Church, President-elect Donald Trump and his wife Melania will head to the White House where they will be welcomed by Joe Biden and his wife Jill for tea. Then around 10.25 a.m. local time (4.25 p.m. in Italy) Trump will move to the Capitol, where the swearing-in ceremony will take place. The first to be sworn in will be Vice President J.D. Vance around 5.30 p.m. Italian time. After him it will be Trump's turn, who will then deliver a speech. Around 12.40 p.m. (6.30 p.m. in Italy) instead, the farewell ceremony of the Biden-Harris Democratic ticket is scheduled. After lunch, at approximately 3.30 p.m. local time (9.30 p.m. Italian time), there will be a parade organised inside the Capital One Arena, due to the frigid temperatures enveloping Washington. This will be followed by the traditional signing ceremony of the first official acts in the Oval Office of the White House. In the evening, Trump will participate in three dances in honour of his presidency.
