Washington (USA), 3 Feb (LaPresse/AP) – The United Nations mission in Afghanistan has announced that one person has died and another has been wounded after a shooting at its Kabul headquarters. The UN stated that its guard post was shot at on Sunday by a Taliban fighter who was standing outside the boundary wall. The security guards did not return fire, one of them sustained minor injuries and was treated in hospital. The Taliban fighter was later found dead in a location outside the compound wall and the UN has not clarified the circumstances of death. The UN and the Taliban are conducting separate investigations into the incident.
