Rome, Feb 3 (LaPresse) – Tariffs on European Union goods imported into the United States will come into effect "very soon." This was stated by U.S. President Donald Trump, as reported by international media. "They have really taken advantage" of the United States, Trump remarked, adding that Europeans "do not take our cars, they do not take our agricultural products. They take almost nothing, and we take everything: millions of cars, huge quantities of food and agricultural products."
When asked by the BBC whether there is a timeline for announcing tariffs against the EU, Trump responded: "I wouldn’t say there’s a timeline, but it will be very soon. The United States has been robbed by practically every country in the world. We have trade deficits with almost every country—not every country, but almost—and we will change that. It’s unfair."
