Milan, Feb 12 (LaPresse) – Mediators say they hope to be able to resolve the dispute between Hamas and Israel by Saturday and continue the ceasefire as agreed. A Hamas official, Mahmoud Merdawi, cited ‘positive signs’ that the hostages would be released on Saturday as planned. But he also warned that the group has not yet received the guarantees it demands from Israel regarding the delivery of humanitarian aid to the population in the Gaza Strip.
