Berlin (Germany), February 23 (LaPresse) – The leader of the CSU, Markus Soeder, cast his vote at a polling station in a school in Nuremberg along with his wife Karin Baumüller-Söder. Despite the recent decline in polls, Soeder expressed optimism about a good result for the Union (CDU-CSU). "Yes, I am very confident. I hope that in the end, we will get the government for our country so that something really changes and we don't just continue as before. A stable government is needed for Germany so that something changes," said Soeder, adding that this is his true wish because it strengthens democracy.
