Milan, 7 Mar. (LaPresse) – ‘We see that the European Union is now very actively discussing the issue of militarisation of the EU, the development of the defence segment. This is a process that we are closely monitoring.’ This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the rearmament plan discussed yesterday in Brussels. Tass news agency reports. ‘All this militarisation is taking place mainly against the Russian Federation. This, of course, could potentially be a matter of deep concern for us,’ Peskov added, ’it will be necessary to take appropriate countermeasures to ensure our security.’
