Milan, 9 March (LaPresse) – The US Secret Service shot a man near the White House in Washington shortly after midnight after an ‘armed confrontation’ between the man and law enforcement officers. This was reported by Nbc. According to the Secret Service in a statement, no other people were injured in the shooting, which occurred about a block from the White House. President Donald Trump was in Florida at the time of the events. The Secret Service said it had received information from local police about the movements of the man, who was from the state of Indiana. The person was later found, along with his car, in the vicinity of the White House. ‘When officers approached, the individual brandished a firearm and an armed confrontation ensued, during which our personnel fired,’ the Secret Service said in a statement. The man was admitted to hospital.
