Quetta (Pakistan), 12 Mar. (LaPresse) – All 50 separatists from the Liberation Army of Belucistan who stormed a train with hundreds of passengers have been killed. This was stated by the Pakistani army spokesman, Lieutenant General Ahmad Sharif, who added that 21 passengers taken hostage were killed. Three soldiers who were guarding the tracks were also killed in the attack that began on Tuesday in the province of Belucistan. Security officials said troops rescued 346 hostages and that the operation was over. The rescued passengers, including women and children, were sent to their home towns. Some of the wounded were taken to Quetta, the provincial capital, about 100 kilometres away.
