Milan, Mar 14 (LaPresse) – ‘They have nothing with which to defend themselves. So they decided to attack. But they did it in vain…. They only drew attention to their problems.’ This is how Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on the decision to summon the Russian ambassador to Italy, announced last night by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, as a result of the words spoken by Zakharova herself to President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, whom she accused of ‘lies’ about the nuclear threat. Speaking to Russia's Izvestia newspaper about the ambassador's summons, Zakharova said that in her opinion Italy was reacting in this way because Russia had once again caught the same person lying.
