Rome, March 17 (LaPresse) – The party of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Fidesz, has presented an amendment to the assembly law to ban Pride events, citing the "protection of minors" as the reason. Hungarian and international media report the news. According to Fidesz, the amendment is necessary "to ensure that only assemblies that consider children's rights to adequate physical, mental, and moral development can take place on Hungarian territory."
