London, March 21 (LaPresse) – London Heathrow Airport has stated in a communication that "significant disruptions are expected in the coming days" after a fire at an electricity substation near the airport. "Passengers should not come to the airport under any circumstances until it reopens," the statement reads, "we know this will be disappointing for passengers and we want to reassure them that we are working as hard as possible to resolve the situation." Heathrow Airport stated in a statement that it "still has no idea when power can be reliably restored." "Heathrow is experiencing a significant power outage throughout the airport due to a large fire at an electricity substation nearby," the statement reads, "fire crews are responding to resolve the incident."
