Washington (USA), Mar 24 (LaPresse) – Donald Trump announced that the United States will impose 25% duties on nations that buy oil from Venezuela. ‘Venezuela has been very hostile to the United States and the freedoms we espouse. Therefore, any country that purchases oil and/or gas from Venezuela will be forced to pay a 25% tariff to the United States on any trade it does with our country,’ the US president said in a post on Truth Social. Trump accused Venezuela of ‘intentionally and deceptively’ sending criminals to the US, including violent individuals and gang members such as Tren de Aragua.
