Bangkok (Thailand), Mar 28 (LaPresse/AP) – Bangkok police reported that a large building under construction in the Thai capital collapsed due to the 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck Southeast Asia. There is still no information on possible casualties. A video shared on social media shows the multi-story building with a crane on top collapsing in a cloud of dust as people around scream and flee. Police told the Associated Press that they had no immediate information on how many workers were on site at the time of the collapse. The two powerful tremors that hit Southeast Asia caused buildings to sway in the Thai capital and led to evacuations throughout the city, as well as in neighboring Myanmar, which was recorded as the quake's epicenter.
