Kiev (Ukraine), 29 Mar (LaPresse) – Russian forces are preparing to launch a new military offensive in the coming weeks to increase pressure on Ukraine and strengthen Moscow's negotiating position in ceasefire talks. This was said by analysts from the Ukrainian government and army. According to Kiev officials, the move could give Russian President Vladimir Putin every reason to delay talks on the cessation of fighting. As the spring fighting season approaches, the Kremlin is considering a multi-pronged push along the 1,000-kilometre front line, according to analysts and military commanders. Two G7 diplomatic officials agreed with this assessment.
