Strasbourg (France), 2 Apr. (LaPresse) – ’In view of the summit in The Hague (at the end of June) we must give a name to the defence planning process. We must evaluate exactly what objectives we need to achieve‘ but “it is conceivable that defence spending will be considerably above 3% of GDP”. This was stated by NATO Secretary General, Mark Rutte, at a press conference on the eve of the NATO Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.
