Turin, April 2 (LaPresse) – Elon Musk, with an estimated net worth of around $342 billion, tops the annual list of the world’s billionaires compiled by Forbes magazine. Despite dedicating significant time to leading DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency), Trump’s cost-cutting initiative, Musk has added $147 billion to his fortune in the past year, thanks to the successes of his aerospace company SpaceX and his artificial intelligence firm xAI.
The Tesla founder is ahead of Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder of Meta, who has a net worth of $216 billion. Also on the podium is Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, with a fortune of $215 billion. In fourth place are Oracle co-founder and former CEO Larry Ellison ($192 billion) and French entrepreneur Bernard Arnault ($178 billion).
