Rome, April 3 (LaPresse) – The Gaza Health Ministry has stated that an Israeli airstrike killed at least 27 Palestinians who were taking refuge in a school in northern Gaza, injuring another 70. According to the ministry's spokesperson, Zaher al-Wahidi, the bodies of 14 children and five women were recovered from the school, located in the Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City. The death toll from the attack, he added, may still rise as some of the injuries are severe. The Israeli military declared that it targeted a "Hamas command and control center" in the Gaza City area and took steps to minimize civilian casualties.
