Milan, 3 Apr. (LaPresse) – The Israeli Defence Force (IDF) says it is investigating further claims by the UN that 15 medics were killed by Israeli troops in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, and then buried in a mass grave. In a post on social media X, IDF spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani said: ‘The incident of 23 March 2025, in which IDF forces opened fire on terrorists advancing in ambulances, has been transferred to the General Staff Fact-Finding and Assessment Mechanism for investigation’. ‘The IDF attaches the utmost importance to maintaining communication with international organisations operating in Gaza and interacts with them regularly,’ the post continues.
