Washington (USA), April 3 (LaPresse) – Donald Trump has fired at least three officials from the National Security Council. The dismissal reportedly occurred after yesterday's meeting in the Oval Office between the US president and controversial far-right activist Laura Loomer, who had previously appeared alongside him during his election campaign. According to sources, the dismissals are a direct consequence of the meeting, during which Loomer allegedly accused several National Security Council officials of disloyalty to Trump. The three dismissed officials are Alex Long, the first deputy national security adviser; Brian Walsh, the director for intelligence; and Thomas Boodry, the director for legislative affairs. Also present at the meeting between Trump and Loomer, which was reported by the New York Times, was National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, recently at the center of the 'Signalgate' scandal.
