Frankfurt (Germany), April 9 (LaPresse) – CDU-CSU and SPD have announced the conclusion of a coalition agreement for the future German government. The distribution of ministries has also been determined. As outlined in the document related to the agreement presented today, seven ministries will be assigned to the CDU, seven to the SPD, and three to the CSU. The CDU will be assigned the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with the Ministries of Economy and Energy, Health, Education, and Family. The Ministry of Transport will also be led by the CDU. Additionally, for the first time, there will be a Ministry of Digitalization, which will also be led by the CDU, which will appoint the head of the Federal Chancellery. The CSU will have three departments: the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Research and Space, and the Ministry of Agriculture. The SPD will lead the Ministries of Finance, Defense, Labor and Social Affairs. The social democrats will also have the Ministry of the Environment, which will include the climate sector, the Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection, the Ministry of Development, and the Ministry of Housing.
