Milan, 17 Apr (LaPresse) – The Trump administration has threatened to revoke Harvard University's ability to enrol international students if it does not turn over documents relating to the ‘illegal and violent activities’ of international students. This was announced by the US Department of Homeland Security (Dhs). Dhs Secretary Kristi Noem ‘has written a strongly worded letter demanding that detailed records of illegal and violent activities of Harvard visa-holding international students be provided by 30 April 2025, on pain of immediate loss of SEVP (Student and Exchange Visitor Program) certification,’ the department said. The Dhs also announced the cancellation of two federal grants worth $2.7 million to Harvard.
