Rome, April 19 (LaPresse) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Iranian state television that the next round of talks with the United States on Iran’s nuclear program will be held in Oman next Saturday, April 26, with U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff. Experts will meet there in the days prior. The statements suggest progress in the second round of talks between the two countries, which took place today in Rome at the Omani Embassy in the Camilluccia district. "The talks were conducted in a constructive atmosphere, and I can say they are progressing," Araghchi said on Iranian state TV. "I hope that after the technical discussions, we will be in a better position," he added, emphasizing that "this time we have succeeded in achieving a better understanding of a series of principles and goals."
