Milan, 19 apr. (LaPresse) – Russia ready for peace talks, welcomes US, China, and BRICS efforts for peaceful Ukraine solution, says Putin. Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that Russia is ready for peace talks and welcomes the efforts of the United States towards a peaceful solution to the Ukrainian crisis, as well as those from China and the BRICS countries. "On our part, we have always been ready for peace talks and we welcome in every way the aspirations of the American side, President Trump, our Chinese friends, the President of the People's Republic of China, and the BRICS countries, all supporters of a peaceful and fair solution to the Ukrainian crisis," Putin said during a meeting with Russian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Valery Gerasimov, as reported by the Russian news agency Interfax.
