Milan, 22 April (LaPresse) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky may attend Pope Francis' funeral. This is according to the Ukrainian newspaper RBC-Ukraine, citing several sources. Another Ukrainian newspaper, European Pravda, citing a source familiar with Zelensky's plans, reports that the Ukrainian president plans to attend the farewell ceremony for the pontiff. The sources cited by the Ukrainian media spoke before the date of the funeral was decided, now officially set for Saturday, 26 April, at 10 a.m.
