Rome, April 23 (LaPresse) – The President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen), addressed the Palestinian Central Council, calling on Hamas to release all hostages to Israel.
“We are facing grave dangers that could lead to a new Nakba (the forced exodus of the Palestinian Arab population),” Abbas stated, as reported by Ynet, explaining that Hamas has given Israel the pretext to destroy the Gaza Strip.
“Hand over the hostages and put an end to this issue,” Abu Mazen declared.
