Milan, April 25 (LaPresse) – The death toll in the Gaza Strip since the outbreak of hostilities following October 7, 2023, has risen to 51,439. This was reported by medical sources cited by the Palestinian news agency Wafa, which also noted that the number of injured has increased to 117,416.
In the past 24 hours alone, the bodies of 84 Palestinians killed — including six recovered from under the rubble — and 168 wounded have been brought to hospitals in the Strip. In addition, at least 10,000 people are reported missing, presumably dead under the rubble of their homes throughout Gaza.
