Rome, April 25 (LaPresse) – The United Nations World Food Programme has announced that it has exhausted all its food supplies for families in Gaza. "The situation inside the Gaza Strip has once again reached a breaking point," reads the organization’s website. "People no longer know how to react, and the fragile progress made during the brief ceasefire has collapsed. Without urgent action to open the borders for humanitarian aid and commercial exchanges, the WFP’s critical assistance may be forced to cease." The WFP thus "urges all parties to prioritize the needs of civilians and allow the immediate entry of aid into Gaza, in compliance with their obligations under international humanitarian law."
