Moscow, April 25 (LaPresse) – "There are reasons to believe that Ukrainian special services were involved in the murder" of General Yaroslav Moskalik, deputy head of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, "especially since" Moskalik "was known to them for his work" including in the Minsk Contact Group "for the resolution of the conflict in southeastern Ukraine". This was stated during a briefing by the spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, according to the Tass agency. "If the investigation confirms the Ukrainian lead in this case, then this will once again demonstrate to the world community the barbaric and treacherous nature of the Kiev regime, which is aiming for an escalation of the military confrontation with Russia and irresponsibly ignoring constructive proposals aimed at finding a peaceful solution to the conflict", Zakharova added during a briefing.
