Turin, April 28 (LaPresse) – Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced a new ceasefire in the conflict in Ukraine from May 8 to 10, to mark the 80th anniversary of the Victory over Nazism. The Kremlin reported this on its Telegram channel, as reported by Interfax. "By decision of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, based on humanitarian considerations, during the days of the 80th anniversary of Victory – from midnight on May 7-8 to midnight on May 10-11 – the Russian side declares a ceasefire. All military actions will cease during this period," reads the statement.
