Milan, 30 April (LaPresse) – ‘I am convinced that within this year the war in Ukraine will end’. This is what Council Vice-President and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said in an interview with the newspaper La Stampa. But on the three-day truce proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, he says: ‘It's a bluff, similar to the one made at Easter. It is not a real ceasefire. We need a more concrete proposal'. ‘It is up to Putin to take the first step,’ he adds, ’he has to give Trump an answer, which so far has not come, unlike Zelensky's. The negotiation will start from new conditions. Everyone will have their say, then mediation will be sought.’
