Milan, May 4 (LaPresse) – "We are focused on two missions: one, bringing our hostages home; two, defeating Hamas. Hamas will no longer exist there. People need to understand that." These are the words of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as reported by Al Jazeera. Netanyahu provided an update on the war in the Gaza Strip, stating that "fierce fighting" continues, while reiterating his promise to completely oust Hamas from the enclave. "Unfortunately, we have just lost two more soldiers," said the prime minister, referring to casualties reported early this morning from Rafah. "We are implementing a plan to achieve a decisive victory," he added, noting that the Israeli war cabinet would meet today to review new plans for the war.
