Turin, 9 May (LaPresse) – Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump exchanged congratulations through their aides on Victory Day, which commemorates the victory over Nazi-Fascism. This was reported by Russian presidential adviser Yuri Ushakov in a comment to Channel One. ‘Through their aides, the Russian president and President Trump exchanged congratulations on our common holiday,’ Ushakov said, as quoted by Tass. As for what the leaders said specifically, Ushakov clarified: ’Warm words, mutual congratulations on a common holiday, a great holiday.’
