Khan Younis, 16 May (LaPresse/AP) – Numerous air strikes hit the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, killing more than 50 people in another night of heavy bombing, while another air raid in the north of the Palestinian territory killed more than a dozen people, authorities said.An Associated Press cameraman in Khan Younis counted 10 air strikes on the city during the night and saw numerous bodies being carried into the morgue of the city's Nasser hospital. The identification of some of them took time due to the extent of their injuries. The hospital morgue confirmed the deaths of 54 people. Among the victims was a journalist from the Qatari television station Al Araby TV, as announced by the station on social media, according to which Hasan Samour was killed along with 11 members of his family in one of the attacks in Khan Younis.
