Washington (USA), May 16 (LaPresse) – Hadi Matar, the American of Lebanese origin who stabbed writer Salman Rushdie on August 12, 2022, on stage at a literary festival in New York State, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison. Following the attack, the writer lost sight in one eye.
