Milan, 23 May (LaPresse) – ‘The fifth round of talks between Iran and the United States ended today in Rome with some progress, but not conclusive. We hope to clarify the outstanding issues in the coming days so that we can move towards the common goal of reaching a sustainable and honourable agreement.’ This was written in a post on X by Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi, who mediated the negotiations.
