Rome, 29 May (LaPresse) – Hamas has reacted to reports that Israel has approved 22 new settlements in the occupied West Bank, saying that the decision is a ‘blatant challenge to international will and a serious violation of United Nations resolutions’. This was reported by Al Jazeera. ‘We call on the international community to take concrete measures to counter the policies of annexation and settlement expansion, which constitute a war crime,’ Hamas said in a statement.
