Turin, May 30 (LaPresse) – Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has renewed his threat to Hamas: either accept the ceasefire and hostage release deal proposed by the United States, or face destruction. "The Israel Defense Forces are continuing the operation in Gaza with full force, striking and dismantling Hamas strongholds, evacuating the local population from all combat zones, and attacking the area by air, land, and sea with unprecedented intensity to ensure maximum protection for our soldiers," he said in a statement reported by the Times of Israel. "After eliminating the terrorists and clearing the area, the IDF will remove all threats following the Rafah model and remain to maintain territorial control," Katz added. "In this way, we will achieve the goals of the war: the release of all hostages and the defeat of Hamas." "Now Hamas murderers must choose: accept the terms of the ‘Witkoff’ agreement for the release of the hostages or be destroyed," he concluded.
