Rome, 5 June (LaPresse) – Russian President Vladimir Putin will soon visit Iran. The announcement was made by the Iranian ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali. This was reported by the Mehr news agency. ‘We will soon witness the visit of Mr Vladimir Putin to Tehran,’ said the senior Iranian diplomat. In May, Iranian government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani said that Tehran was expecting Putin to visit Iran and was preparing for his arrival. In early April, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi delivered a message from the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, to the Russian president during a meeting in Moscow.
