Washington (USA), June 5 (LaPresse) – The clash between Donald Trump and Elon Musk is intensifying following the latest comments from the U.S. president. “Without me, Trump would have lost the election, the Democrats would have controlled the House, and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate,” the billionaire wrote on X. “Such ingratitude,” he added.
Musk also responded to Trump’s claim that the billionaire “knew better than anyone else the inner workings of the tax and spending bill,” which the Tesla CEO harshly criticized. “False. This bill was never shown to me, not even once, and it was passed in the middle of the night so fast that almost no one in Congress had time to read it!” Musk wrote, sharing a video of Trump, speaking from the Oval Office during German Chancellor Merz’s visit, expressing disappointment in him.
