Frankfurt (Germany), 10 June (LaPresse) – German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has accused Russia of ‘serious war crimes’ for its recent attacks on Kiev and other Ukrainian cities. Russia has attacked the Ukrainian civilian population ‘in a targeted and ruthless manner’ with numerous drones and cruise missiles in recent days, Merz said at a joint press conference with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof. The massive Russian attacks represent ‘terrorism against the civilian population’ and ‘anything but a proportionate response’ to Ukraine's ‘very precise’ attacks on Russian military airports, the German chancellor added, saying that ‘Russia really wanted to cause a bloodbath.’
